About Marybeth Harrison
Working as a speech therapist for the past 25 years, Marybeth incorporated poems and rhymes in her speech and language lessons. As the need for character education grew, Left Out Lucie was born.
As a Mom and educator, Marybeth decided to write a rhyming children's book with a relatable character and a storyline appropriate for ages 4 through 8.
Marybeth lives in the beautiful hills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, with her husband Bill, as well as a rescue dog and cat. She adores spending time with her "grown-up" kids who live throughout the Northeast. When not working, Marybeth enjoys traveling, knitting and playing Candy Crush. Her favorite activity to do is share Left Out Lucie with children everywhere.
